This enchanting Rupert was originally intended to be a Limited Edition of 10,000 pieces, but unfortunately due to problems with the license agreement, this was not fulfilled. As a consequence, these beautiful Bears have become highly collectable, and are much sought after.
This Limited Edition Rupert Bear by Merrythought stands 50cm tall, is 5 way jointed, and is crafted from luxurious mohair. He is superbly dressed in his characteristic yellow check trousers and scarf, red jumper with white lace-up shoes. He comes boxed, plastic lid is cracked on edges by box as with most items this age. made in 1992.
