This year’s Collection is quite special. All the characters are named after the world’s most famous zoos and each is depicted to be an endangered species, bringing awareness to their cause. Meet Chester the Tree Kangaroo, a native to New Guinea and Queensland, Australia (who’s species is in such decline, that there are only 50 left worldwide), to the Charlie Bears Bear House Collection. A glorious design by Isabelle Lee with Charlotte Morris exclusively for Charlie Bears.
Chester is a 38cm/ 15″ non-jointed Tree Kangaroo. He has been sewn from a sumptuously dense and soft mix of plush, in rich browns and sandy beige, including his marsupial pouch, with smooth accents for his stitch padded paws, whilst his white emphasised, glossy black eyes and velvety chocolate nose help to create his character. To finish, beans in his lower half for that satisfying cuddly feel with a navy blue, white, red and black, gingham print neck tie, featuring a plain red underside – A grand tv companion!
