Jumping in and out of time, this writer heralds from the 16th century, but just like his 19th century counterpart, Tolkien, both had their writings brought to life through film and in Shakespeare’s case, plays. Shakespeare has been lovingly designed by Isabelle Lee with Charlotte Morris for Charlie Bears, Isabelle Collection.
Shakespeare is a fully jointed, contemporary character panda. He has been sewn from a luxuriously dense, fluffy long-pile mohair in honey and grey-sand, plus tactile faux suede, stitch padded and shaded paws, featuring a strip of decadent alpaca woven between his soles /palms and his defined digits. He has expressive, white enhanced, glossy black eyes and a hand stitched cocoa nose, with colour shading adding to his appealing charm. In finishing, he wears a ruffled crochet collar with pale-lilac and honey highlights, tied with an iridescent (light catching) fabric ‘cord’ bow, decorated with an assortment of coloured beads.
