Continuing with the much inspired, Beatrix Potter series, we have the delectable Jeremy Fisher, from 2003. A freindly wee frog who intends to invite some friends for dinner, but when he is almost eaten by a trout, laughed at by a shoal of little fishes and pricked on the finger by Jack Sharp, a stickleback with very sharpe spines, he vows never to fish again … beautifully captured by the artisans at Steiff.
Jeremy Fisher is 18cm tall and fully jointed. He has been sewn from a luxurious short pile mohair, that has received dainty shading, detailing to his face, with stripes upon his legs. He wears a ditzy floral print, collared waistcoat, with a white neckerchief, plus a brick red Macintosh and black galoshes, both from a brushed cotton, ultra suede. He carries the most detailed, woven wicker, lidded basket with faux leather carry handle and fastener. He is ready to go down to the bank to fish!
This much loved character is a UK and Ireland Exclusive, Limited Edition of just 1,500 pieces and will come to you boxed, with his numbered certificate of authenticity attached.
