With slight rejuvenation, is Curly Gold, the popular cousin of the much loved, London Gold and a classic design that has proved to be long lasting for the British maker – Merrythought.
Curly Gold is 16″ / 40.5cm tall and fully jointed, with a captivating, tip and tilt growl. He has been sewn from a luxuriously soft, distressed pale gold mohair, that gives a wavy appearance and a true contrast when compare to the London Gold. He has the traditional, pale nut brown wool felt paw pads, endearing glossy black eyes, with a smart hand stitched nose and a gentily friendly smile. To finish, he wears the Merrythought logo/badge sewn upon his right paw and has a bean-filled tum, for that squidgy soft feel, plus a sumptuous long tailed satin ribbon bow, in a pretty royal blue. A lifetime of cuddles!!

Originally Merrythought teddy bears had glass eyes (from 1930 onwards) but our bears are now made with plastic safety eyes. Our teddy bears are safety tested and suitable for children although it is advised that any accessories (such as labels, ribbons, clothing) are removed before giving to small children.
